EXPERIMENTAL SYSTEMS DIVISIONIMRSV FIELD TEST PROGRAMCREATOR ALPHA / PHASE 01
THE FIRST WORLDS ARE NOW UNDER CONSTRUCTION.
Have you ever tried to make a three-dimensional world? Perhaps you finished it. Perhaps the tools got in the way.
We're developing a different approach: a virtual reality creation system designed to put more of the work of making a scene within reach of the person imagining it.
We're inviting a small number of Creators to help evaluate it.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Use IMRSV Studio and its available libraries to create an original immersive composition. Explore the workflow, tell us what works, and show us where it doesn't.
You don't need to be a professional. You don't need a finished portfolio. Some prior experience attempting 3D or VR creation is especially valuable.
You do need curiosity, patience with experimental software, and an idea worth trying.
TWO PHASES. ONE PURPOSE.
01 — CREATOR ALPHA / MAKE THE WORLD. This field test focuses on creation. Build compositions and help improve the tools. What you release here is seen by the other field testers, and by no one else.
02 — AUDIENCE ALPHA / INVITE SOMEONE IN. A later phase is intended to let Creators invite an Audience to experience their work. Timing and eligibility depend on development and testing results.
FIELD TEST REQUIREMENTS
A Linux or Windows PC with suitable graphics hardware; a compatible PCVR headset and connection; willingness to install unfinished software and share feedback; enough time to attempt a small composition.
Exact supported configurations will be published before invitations.
APPLY TO PARTICIPATE
Tell us what you've tried, what you'd like to make, and what equipment you have. The application should take about 5–7 minutes. Applications are reviewed individually; invitations are limited.
You apply with an IMRSVLabs account: a handle and a key, and no email. Making one takes a minute.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
We review creative interest, technical compatibility, and the kinds of feedback this phase needs. Selected applicants see an offer on their account page, with setup instructions and the current testing scope. You may ask us to keep your application for later openings.
Applying does not guarantee selection.
